As most of you know, I am a huge fan of making my own foods. If I can buy it packaged at the grocery store, you bet I am going to try and create my own recipe!  So, when I saw the ingredients in the almond milk I was buying at the store, I knew I needed to create a recipe with minimal whole ingredients.

Introducing my Vanilla Maca Almond Milk recipe.

Not only does this recipe contain only whole ingredients, it even tastes richer than the store-bought variety. I love adding this almond milk to my morning coffee, or to a batch of overnight oats.

This Almond Milk is:

Trust me, once you start making your own almond milk, you will never go back to buying it.

Yes, I am telling you that making your own almond milk is easy, tastes better and only contains whole ingredients. So, what are you waiting for?

This is amazing! When I’m not pregnant I love using maca to help regulate hormones but never thought to make it into my almond milk- I’ll give it a try!

I have to admit, I’m a little scared to try this – I’ve never had maca before! But, I love almond milk and I recently went vegan so this seems like the perfect healthy recipe to start branching out into new foods 🙂

I also stopped eating animal products. Plant milk is a great alternative to animal milk – and after making this recipe I will never go back to buying it! I think this will be the same with other plant milks. Thanks for your comment, Haley!

We haven’t tried almond milk due to my little one’s food allergies, but this looks like an easy way to make it yourself.

There are lots of other plant-milks that you can make at home as well. Hemp milk is a good example, if that better suits your family. There are tons of recipes online!
