Pour this smoothie into a bowl, and add your desired toppings.  I love adding my Easy 6 Ingredient Granola for an added crunch, and chia seeds for extra protein.  But, you can customize the toppings based on your preferences!

Berry and Banana Bliss Smoothie

Serves: 2 cups
  • ½ banana
  • ½ cup frozen berries (I normally use blueberries)
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tablespoons hemp hearts
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder (I use this kind)
  • ½ cup water (or more depending on your desired consitency)
  • 1 tablepsoon chia seeds (optional topping)
  • ½ cup granola (optional topping)
  1. Place the banana, frozen berries, spinach, hemp hearts, ground flax, maca powder and water into a blender, and blend until combined.
  2. Pour into cup or bowl.
  3. Add your toppings and enjoy!

    I recently did a smoothie recipe post on my blog. I love smoothies, mainly because I get nutrients from foods I don’t like on their own. This smoothie looks delicious and refreshing!
